black bean hummus


this is a great dip to have around the house and it is super easy to fix.

ingredients:
1 can (15 ounce) black beans; drain and reserve liquid or use olive oil
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 tbsp tahini
3 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp parsley

mince garlic in the food processor. add black beans, 2 tbsp of the reserved liquid or olive oil, lemon juice, tahini, cumin, sea salt, cayenne pepper. process until it is smooth. add additional seasoning and liquid to taste. sprinkle parsley and paprika on top. enjoy with carrots, celery, bell peppers, or crackers. the possibilities are endless. keep hummus refrigerated.
